Das Weingut Ca ed Curen, tief verwurzelt in der Langhe-Region, ist bekannt für seine einfache, aber keineswegs triviale Weinproduktion. Mit einer Vielzahl von Rebsorten wie Dolcetto, Moscato und Barbera und Nebbiolo produziert das Weingut eine breite Palette von Weinen. Von klassischen Sorten bis hin zu einzigartigen Kreationen wie dem stillen Muskateller 'L’incompreso' und dem aromatischen Rosé 'Incontro' bietet Ca ed Curen eine Weinpalette, welche ihre reiche Geschichte und die Vielfalt der Region widerspiegelt.

Das Weingut Ca ed Curen wurde Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts gegründet. Ursprünglich produzierte das Weingut Weine für Freunde und Nachbarn, bis es Ende der 1980er Jahre damit begann, direkt aus dem Keller an Kunden zu verkaufen. Mit der Jahrhundertwende kam die Flaschenabfüllung, die bis heute anhält. Das Weingut, benannt nach dem Urgroßvater Giacomo, liebevoll Curen genannt, ist bekannt für seine sorgfältige Weinproduktion, welche die Leidenschaft und das Erbe der Familie widerspiegelt. Gelegen zwischen Alba und Asti, genießt Ca ed Curen eine erhöhte Lage in einer schönen Naturlandschaft. Ihre Weine haben Anerkennung gefunden, wie durch den "The WineHunter Award 2019" für ihren Dolcetto.

Degustationsnotiz

 

Der Name „Incontro“ („Begegnung“) ergibt mit dieser Assemblage perfekten Sinn: Es ist kein gewöhnlicher Rotwein, sondern eine Begegnung zweier weißer aromatischer Sorten mit einer roten Traditionsrebe (Favorita + Moscato + Dolcetto).

Dieser historische Stil ist typisch für die bäuerliche piemontesische Tradition, bei der weisse und rote Trauben gemeinsam gekeltert wurden, um einen hellroten, hocharomatischen, leichten und saftigen Wein zu erzeugen.

Angepasste Sommelier-Degustationsnotiz & Analyse

1. Optischer Eindruck (Auge)

Helles, leuchtendes Rubin- bis Granatrot mit zartem Violett- und Rosa-Reflex. Eher transparent und leichtfüssig im Glas – erinnert optisch an einen kräftigen Cerasuolo oder leichten Pinot Noir.

2. Olfaktorischer Eindruck (Nase)

  • Charakter: Ausserordentlich aromatisch, verspielt, floral und extrem einladend – die Nase profitiert massiv von den weissen Rebsorten!
  • Fruchtkomponenten: Knackige rote Waldkirschen, Erdbeeren und Cranberrys (vom Dolcetto), gepaart mit weissem Pfirsich, Williams-Birne und frischen Weintrauben (vom Moscato/Favorita).
  • Florale & Kräuterige Frische: Ausgeprägte Noten von Orangenblüten, Holunder, Rosenblättern sowie Zitronenmelisse und Minze.

3. Gustatorischer Eindruck (Gaumen)

  • Auftakt: Unwiderstehlich frisch, saftig und trinkanimierend.
  • Säure & Frische: Die Rebsorte Favorita steuert eine zitrisch-knackige, mineralische Weinsäure bei, die für unglaublichen Zug sorgt.
  • Aromatik & Süsse: Obwohl der Wein trocken vinifiziert ist, verleiht der Moscato-Anteil am Gaumen eine betörende Fruchtsüsse und ein parfümiertes Mousseux an Aromen, ohne je klebrig zu sein.
  • Tannine & Struktur: Der Dolcetto liefert das zarte, feinkörnige Tanningerüst, etwas Grip und den charakteristischen, leicht mandeligen Nachhall, der verhindert, dass der Wein banal wirkt.
  • Abgang: Fröhlich, saftig, kühl und anhaltend floral-fruchtig.
